Moving Forward

May 14, 2018

Things are just starting to shape up with my life right now. After being stuck a bit after moving to New Jersey, I got a job and started paying back and getting my debts current. I still have a lot of money that needs to be spent to bring me back anywhere near how I was before I left Texas, but I'm not getting up. We're close to having enough to put a deposit down on our own apartment so you can expect some news about moving one final time before I settle as permanently as possible.

As for getting back into streaming, my original idea was to get all the cables I lost on top of a new mic and headset since those are a priority to continue my streaming. After a bit of thinking, I decided it's best to get the headset I used to have before I lost it in our move because it includes a mic. It might not be the best quality, but it will get me streaming again as soon as possible and that's what I'm trying to focus on right now.

While this is more related to my writing, I'm currently waiting for a new piece I commissioned. It's a fantasy map to display the world of Enia and will be included in the book when it gets published. This is actually the first time I'm getting a map for any of my writing and it feels great. I hate that I have to wait, but I'm so looking forward to the end result. The artist has great work!

You might have noticed that I'm now posting more reviews than anything. That's mostly because I haven't been writing as much as I have been plotting and creating races/characters. This takes a lot out of me and I like to relax with a good book. As a book reviewer, it's also my job to post my reviews on this site along with places like Amazon and Goodreads. I hope my reviews can help you find your next book (if that's your thing)!
